Description

LEKI Code: LESECL127 14 mm Section 915 mm Length Black Anodized Speed Lock + (SL+) 2-Section Design Aluminium
An adjustable alpine ski pole places very different demands on its lower section than a fixed-length pole does — the section must handle high-speed lateral impact and torsional load while also tolerating the vibration and shock of repeated adjustment across a 30 cm working range. At 915 mm and 14 mm diameter in black anodized aluminium, LESECL127 is the genuine LEKI replacement lower section for the LEKI Spitfire Vario 3D — a 2-section Speed Lock + adjustable alpine ski pole built around a 16/14 mm HTS 6.5 aluminium shaft, 110–140 cm adjustment range, and Trigger 3D grip system. Manufactured to the original HTS 6.5 aluminium specification, it restores the exact 14 mm diameter, 915 mm length, and tube surface that the Speed Lock + lever assembly depends on for solid clamping and smooth length adjustment even in cold and gloved-hand conditions.

► Compatibility & Fitting Guide
LESECL127 is the correct replacement lower section for the LEKI Spitfire Vario 3D — a 2-section Speed Lock + adjustable alpine ski pole with a 16/14 mm shaft, black anodized HTS 6.5 aluminium construction, and 110–140 cm adjustment range. The Spitfire Vario 3D uses the Speed Lock + (SL+) lever: a slim external clamp assembly without an aluminium clamping piece between the two sections, identified by a silver-coloured round dial. The 915 mm lower section length is the definitive identifier — check the printed measurement on your existing lower section before ordering. Compatible with model codes 65067101 (2021 Spitfire 3D Vario), 65367101 and 65367102 (Spitfire Vario 3D, FW24/25 and subsequent production variants).
LEKI Spitfire Vario 3D — 2-section Speed Lock + adjustable alpine ski poles with 16/14 mm shaft, black anodized HTS 6.5 aluminium, 110–140 cm adjustment range, and Trigger 3D grip system (model codes 65067101, 65367101, 65367102 and related production variants)
✓ To fit: open the Speed Lock + lever fully, withdraw the worn lower section, insert LESECL127 and slide to approximate mid-position — do not force; close the lever, set your preferred length, and test the hold before use
✓ After fitting, apply firm opposing force between the grip and the basket end — the section must hold without slipping; if it moves, adjust the Speed Lock + tension screw clockwise until the lever locks firmly at a comfortable closing force
✓ The Speed Lock + lever is identified by a slim profile with no aluminium clamping piece between the sections, a continuous assembly that cannot be split, and a silver-coloured round dial — if your lever has a smoke-grey or large transparent dial, your poles use a different Speed Lock variant and this section may not be the correct code
► Not Compatible With
✗ Poles using Speed Lock 1 (SL1) or Speed Lock 2 (SL2) — different lever mechanisms and lower section lengths; the tube diameter may match but the section length and clamping interface differ
✗ Fixed-length ski poles — these have no lower adjustable section; LESECL127 is dimensioned for 2-section telescopic construction and cannot be retrofitted to a one-piece pole
✗ Poles with a 12 mm or 16 mm lower section — the 14 mm diameter is specific to the 16/14 mm shaft profile; a different diameter section will not seat correctly in the Speed Lock + lever assembly
✗ Poles with a nature anodized or carbon lower section — LESECL127 is the black anodized aluminium variant; a different section code is required for poles with silver anodized or carbon lower sections of otherwise identical specification
BEFORE YOU ORDER — QUICK CHECK
✓ Section length: the printed measurement on your existing lower section must read 915 mm — this is the primary specification and overrides all other checks
✓ Diameter: confirm the lower (tip) end of your section measures 14 mm — if it measures 12 mm or 16 mm, a different LEKI replacement code is required
✓ Locking system: your poles must use Speed Lock + — a slim external lever with a silver-coloured round dial and no aluminium clamping piece visible between the two shaft sections; if the lever has a transparent or smoke-grey dial, a different LEKI lower section code applies
✓ Finish: your existing lower section must be black anodized — if the section is silver/nature anodized, a different LEKI replacement code applies to your pole variant
