LEKI Skytera Lite Compact Lower Section
Product code LESECL123 - Black Anodized
Description
This is the replacement lower section for the LEKI Skytera Lite Compact — the aluminium trekking pole built for hikers who want a full-length pole that packs down short. The lower section is the thinnest, bottom-most tube of the pole: the 12 mm shaft that runs from the Speed Lock plus clamp down to the tip and basket. It is the part that takes the most abuse on rock, scree and hard trail, and the first to bend or split if a pole is loaded off-angle or caught between rocks. Rather than retire the whole pole, LEKI builds its telescopic poles so this section can be swapped out on its own — restoring the pole to full working length and strength for a fraction of the cost of a new pair.
✓ Your pole should have the Speed Lock plus external clamp lever, not a twist-lock or a folding/FX button system.
✓ The bottom tube on your pole should measure 12 mm in diameter — this is the narrowest of the three sections (16 / 14 / 12 mm).
✓ This is the lower section only. The 14 mm middle section is a separate part.

2. Slide the damaged lower section fully out of the pole.
3. Insert the replacement lower section into the same clamp, lining up the length markings.
4. Set your working length, then close the lever firmly.
5. Check the clamp holds under load before use; if the section slips, adjust the clamp tension via the knurled wheel on the lever and re-test.▸ Not Compatible With+
