Description
This is the replacement middle section 3 — the lower middle segment of the pole — for the LEKI Cross Trail FX Superlite Vario trail running pole (LE65426801). Middle section 3 sits directly above the lower section and forms the central structural span of the assembled pole. It is replaced at a LEKI service point or authorised retailer.
Because the Cross Trail FX Superlite is a Vario adjustable pole, a single middle section covers the entire 110–130 cm length range. There is no size selection — one section fits every length variant of this model. No tip is included; this section connects the upper and lower parts of the pole only.
This section is not compatible with the Cross Trail FX Superlite Compact (LE65426851, 100–120 cm). If you are unsure which section fits your pole, contact LEKI UK with photos of the full pole and the damaged section before ordering.

Because the Cross Trail FX Superlite is a Vario adjustable pole, the length adjustment is handled by the CLD (Core Locking Device) and Speed Lock 2 Plus mechanisms — not by swapping sections. The pole's physical segments are the same across all lengths from 110 cm to 130 cm. One middle section 3 fits every version of this model. This is different from FX.One fixed-length poles, where each section is size-specific.
Superlite (SL) construction ▼
The Cross Trail FX Superlite uses a Superlite 14|12|12|12 mm diameter construction — the smallest diameter available in LEKI's folding pole range. This middle section is part of the 12 mm diameter family. The SL specification is designed for minimum weight and maximum speed; it is not built for high-impact or heavy daily training use. Carbon HRC is LEKI's highest racing carbon grade, delivering the stiffness-to-weight ratio demanded by elite trail running.
FX Technology — replacing individual sections ▼
LEKI's FX (Foldable and Exchangeable) system divides each pole into individually replaceable segments, identified by the grey end cap at the FX split point. Middle section 3 is the lower middle segment of the pole, sitting directly above the lower section. While the lower section is designed for end-consumer replacement at home, middle section replacement is recommended at a LEKI service point or authorised retailer for correct reassembly.
