Description
This is the replacement lower section — with Trail Running Tip included — for the LEKI Cross Trail FX Superlite Vario pole (LE65426801). The lower section is the bottom part of the 4-section folding assembly, from the Speed Lock 2 Plus clamp down to the carbide tip, and can be replaced at home using basic tools.
Because the Cross Trail FX Superlite is a continuously adjustable Vario pole, a single lower section covers the full 110–130 cm length range. There are no size variants to choose between — one section fits all length settings of this pole.
This section is specific to the Cross Trail FX Superlite (LE65426801). It is not compatible with the Cross Trail FX Superlite Compact (LE65426851) or any other pole model. If you are unsure whether this is the correct section for your pole, contact LEKI UK with photos before ordering.

There are no -110, -120, or -130 size variants to navigate — order LE797065426801 and it will fit. This is different from fixed-length FX.One poles, which require a length-specific lower section.
FX Technology — How Section Replacement Works ▼
LEKI's FX (Foldable and Exchangeable) system allows the lower section to be replaced by the end consumer without sending the pole to a service centre. The grey end cap on the pole marks the FX split point — this is where the lower section separates from the rest of the assembly. A basic wrench is all that is needed to release and replace the section. Full replacement takes around five minutes. LEKI provides service videos as a guide through the process.
HRC Carbon — Highest Racing Carbon Grade ▼
HRC (Highest Racing Carbon) is LEKI's top-grade carbon material, used on elite trail running and performance trekking poles. This replacement section uses the same HRC carbon as the original pole, maintaining the performance-weight ratio and stiffness characteristics rather than substituting a lower grade. The 12 mm Superlite section diameter keeps weight to a minimum — consistent with the Cross Trail FX Superlite's position as LEKI's lightest-folding Vario pole in this category.
Trail Running Tip — Already Installed ▼
The Trail Running Tip with carbide insert is pre-installed on this section. The Trail Running Tip is optimised for the short, rapid strikes of trail running — it is lighter and has a smaller contact plate than a standard Flex Tip, reducing swing weight and improving pole cadence on technical terrain. A Trail Running Basket can be fitted if required for soft ground or snow. No separate tip purchase is required when ordering this section.
