Description

This is the replacement lower section — with Flex Tip included — for the LEKI Khumbu Pro FX.One TA folding trekking pole (LE65420711). The lower section is the bottom part of the pole, from the FX split point down to the carbide tip, and can be replaced at home using basic tools.

Three size variants are available, each covering specific lengths from the Khumbu Pro FX.One TA fixed-length range. Select the variant that matches the length of your pole: the 110+115 cm variant fits both 110 cm and 115 cm poles; the 120+125 cm variant fits both 120 cm and 125 cm poles; and the 130 cm variant fits the 130 cm pole only.

This section is also compatible with LE654207191 per LEKI catalogue data. It is not compatible with other Khumbu variants or the Makalu FX.One range. If you are unsure which section fits your pole, contact LEKI UK with photos of the full pole and the damaged section before ordering.

Why it matters on the mountain
  • LEKI's FX technology is designed for this — the lower section is end-consumer replaceable, meaning a damaged pole does not have to become a discarded pole
  • Replacing a single section costs a fraction of a new pole, and takes minutes at home with a basic wrench
  • The Flex Tip is included — no separate tip replacement required, the section arrives ready to install
  • LEKI supports spare parts availability for approximately 10 years from product launch, making long-term repairability a practical reality for this model
KEY FEATURES

HIGHLIGHTS
Which size do I need?
The correct size depends on the total length of your Khumbu Pro FX.One TA pole. Check the length printed on the section (or refer to your original purchase): poles of 110 cm or 115 cm require the 110+115 cm variant; poles of 120 cm or 125 cm require the 120+125 cm variant; and the 130 cm pole requires the 130 cm variant. Two pole lengths share a lower section design within the -110 and -120 variants. If you are unsure, email photos of your pole to [email protected] before ordering.
FX Technology — How Section Replacement Works
LEKI's FX (Foldable and Exchangeable) system allows the lower section to be replaced by the end consumer without sending the pole to a service centre. The grey end cap on the pole marks the FX split point — this is where the lower section separates from the rest of the pole. A basic wrench is all that is needed to release and replace the section. The new section clicks into place and locks at the same point. Full replacement takes around five minutes. LEKI provides service videos as a guide through the process.
Flex Tip — Already Installed
The Flex Tip is pre-installed on this section. The Flex Tip features a carbide insert that can flex up to 30° without deforming — it absorbs off-angle strike loads during hiking and returns to shape, extending tip life on varied terrain. A trekking basket can be fitted to the Flex Tip for use on soft or snowy ground. No separate tip purchase is required when ordering this section.
HTS 6.5 Aluminium — What TA Means
TA stands for Tempered Aluminium. HTS 6.5 is LEKI's highest-grade aluminium alloy — the same material used in the Khumbu and Makalu telescopic pro ranges. It provides maximum structural rigidity and durability in an aluminium section, with a better strength-to-weight ratio than standard aluminium grades. For a replacement lower section, this means the spare part matches the structural performance of the original pole exactly.
