LEKI Lower Section for Jannu FX TA

The FX system uses a multi-segment folding construction secured by an internal cord. Replacing a damaged or bent lower section restores full pole function without replacing the grip, upper sections, or cord assembly. The lower section is the most exposed part of the pole and the most commonly damaged through ground impact — having a genuine replacement available extends pole life significantly. This Lower Section fits the Jannu FX TA (model 65222861) only.

A matching Middle Section 3 (LE797365222861, 110–130cm Vario) is available separately for the upper-middle segment of the same pole.

• The lower section is the first point of contact with rock, scree, and hard terrain — it takes the most impact and is the most likely section to crack or bend in a fall or heavy strike.
• A damaged lower section compromises the FX cord tension and the fold-to-deploy action — replacing it immediately restores safe operation.
• Genuine LEKI 14mm aluminium section maintains the correct wall thickness and tip thread spec — aftermarket lower sections alter tip seating and can cause the flex tip to work loose under load.
• Replacing the lower section alone — rather than the full pole — is the cost-effective repair option for impact damage that leaves the grip, strap, and upper sections intact.
