14 mm Section SL2+ Speedlock DSS Anti-Shock FX Folding Variable Makalu FX Carbon AS
Genuine LEKI replacement MS3 (Middle Section 3) for the Makalu FX Carbon AS trekking pole, article number 65220631. In LEKI's 5-section FX folding system, MS3 is the second section from the bottom — positioned directly above the Lower tip section. This 14 mm section locks via the SL2+ (Speedlock 2+) mechanism, delivering variable-length adjustment across the full 110–130 cm range. The Makalu FX Carbon AS is fitted with LEKI's DSS (Dynamic Suspension System), which provides active shock absorption on descents and technical terrain. This replacement section carries the DSS mechanism through the pole — essential for preserving the original anti-shock performance. Constructed from an aluminium/carbon composite for lightweight rigidity on demanding mountain routes.
