This genuine LEKI Middle Section 1 (MS1) spare fits the Ultratrail FX.One — LEKI's Racing Series trail running pole built for trail and ultra runners who want fixed-length stiffness with fast pack-down. The 14 mm Carbon (HRC) section is supplied at 250 mm to match the pole sizes listed below — fit the correct length and the pole performs exactly as it left the factory. These are fixed-length poles, so this section is length-specific — check your pole's printed length before ordering. From UK ultras to fast valley loops, the right spare gets your poles back under you for a fraction of the cost of a new pair.

Which section is the MS1?
These poles fold into four sections. From the tip upward: the Lower section (tip end), MS2, then MS1, with the upper section and grip at the top. MS1 is the highest middle section, sitting directly below the upper section.
How the folding system works
The Push-Button (PB) system locks each folding section in place when the pole is assembled. These are fixed-length poles — there is no Vario height adjustment, so each section is supplied at the length that matches its pole size.
How to fit
1. Unfold the pole and locate the joints either side of the MS1 section.
2. Release the folding lock and separate the damaged section from its neighbours.
3. Thread the internal cord through the replacement section, reconnect, and lock the joints back into position.
If the internal cord is damaged, the pole needs a workshop repair — a section swap alone will not fix it.
Black endcap? Do not order — black endcap poles are not user-fittable.
