Which section is the Lower?
The lower section is the tip end of the pole — it carries the tip and takes the most ground contact, which is why it is usually the first section to wear or take damage.
How the folding system works
The Push-Button (PB) system locks each folding section in place when the pole is assembled. These are fixed-length poles — there is no Vario height adjustment, so each section is supplied at the length that matches its pole size.
How to fit
1. Unfold the pole and locate the joint between the lower section and the section above it.
2. Release the folding lock at that joint and separate the sections.
3. Thread the internal cord through the replacement lower section, reconnect, and lock the joint back into position.
If the internal cord is damaged, the pole needs a workshop repair — a section swap alone will not fix it.
Black endcap? Do not order — black endcap poles are not user-fittable.
