LEKI Makalu FX Carbon Compact

The LEKI Makalu FX Carbon Compact (SS26) is a premium folding trekking pole pair designed for hikers who want a compact pack size and a shorter adjustment range without sacrificing stability on steep climbs and technical descents. Built with Carbon PRC 1000 and a 4-section folding construction, it packs down small for travel and rucksack carry, then adjusts quickly for the terrain ahead.

Control comes from the Aergon Air grip, combining lightweight hollow-core construction with supportive ergonomic surfaces and a fully rubberised grip head for confident downhill handling. The ELD folding system opens and closes quickly at the push of a button, and Speed Lock 2 Plus provides fast, secure length adjustment from 100–120 cm. Finished with Trekking Basket 2.0 and a Flex Tip (Short), it’s built for reliable placement across mixed trails and mountain ground.
