The LEKI Makalu Pro FX Carbon is a premium folding trekking pole pair built for mountain days where compact pack size, fast deployment and confident control matter. Made entirely from Carbon (PRC 1000), it balances low weight with a stable feel on climbs and secure support on technical descents.
Comfort and control come from the Aergon Air grip with a real cork contact surface and a rubberised grip back for downhill control, plus a grip extension for quick hand-position changes on steep terrain. The ELD folding system opens and closes quickly via a push-button design, while Speed Lock 2 plus AL allows fast, reliable length adjustment from 110–130 cm.
