Description

LEKI Code: LESECL126 12 mm Section 761 mm Length Nature Anodized Silver Speed Lock 2-Section Design Aluminium
The lower section is the first point of contact between your pole and the ground — absorbing every plant, every rock, every descent. On a 2-section vario pole, the lower shaft spans the full working length of the adjusted pole, meaning it takes more accumulated wear than any other component. When that section is bent, cracked, or has lost its surface finish integrity, the handling changes in ways you feel before you can explain. This genuine LEKI replacement restores the exact 12 mm diameter, the 761 mm section length, the nature anodized silver surface, and the Speed Lock clamping interface your poles were built around — nothing approximated, nothing substituted. LESECL126 is machined from HTS aluminium to the same specification as the original, with the anodized layer applied to the same depth and hardness. The result is a section that slots in, clamps true, and behaves exactly as the pole did when it left the factory.

► Compatibility & Fitting Guide
LESECL126 is the correct replacement lower section for the LEKI Drifter Vario S 90–120 cm youth ski pole, sold across production years under model numbers 6336410, 6406410, and 65364101. All versions share the same section specification: 14|12 mm shaft, Speed Lock, 2-section construction, HTS aluminium. The 761 mm lower section length is the definitive identifier — measure the printed length on your existing lower section before ordering. If your pole has a single Speed Lock lever per joint, a 12 mm lower tube, and a nature anodized silver shaft, this section is the correct replacement specification.
✓ LEKI Drifter Vario S 90–120 cm youth ski pole — models 6336410, 6406410, 65364101 — 2-section Speed Lock, 14|12 mm, HTS aluminium, nature anodized silver, 761 mm lower section
✓ To fit: open the Speed Lock lever fully, withdraw the worn section from the pole body, insert LESECL126 with the expansion slot aligned to the internal pin, close the lever and test — adjust the tension screw clockwise if the section slips under load
✓ After fitting, pull-test firmly before use — grasp the tip end and the grip separately and apply force in opposite directions; the section must hold without movement
✓ The carbide tip fitted to the lower section is separately replaceable — if only the tip is worn and the section tube is undamaged, a standalone LEKI tip replacement will restore full performance at lower cost
► Not Compatible With
✗ Poles with a 14 mm or 16 mm lower section — the 12 mm diameter will not fill the expander correctly and will not clamp securely
✗ 3-section telescopic poles — these use a shorter lower section (typically 420–561 mm) and a separate middle section; the 761 mm length of LESECL126 will not fit a 3-section body geometry
✗ Poles equipped with Speed Lock 2, Speed Lock Plus, Speed Lock 2 Plus, or SLS — the expander and internal geometry differ from the original Speed Lock specification
✗ Poles with black anodized, powder-coated, or carbon finish lower sections — different finish codes indicate different pole models and section specifications; surface colour alone does not confirm fit
BEFORE YOU ORDER — QUICK CHECK
✓ Section length: the printed length on your existing lower section must read 761 mm — this is the single most important check; no other specification overrides it
✓ Diameter: measure the lower (narrower) end of your pole section — must be 12 mm; a 14 mm or 16 mm section requires a different LEKI replacement code
✓ Locking system: your poles must use the original Speed Lock lever — a single external lever per joint that opens outward to release; if your lever is labelled Speed Lock 2 or has a different mechanism, this section will not fit correctly
✓ Finish: your existing lower section must have a nature anodized silver surface — black anodized, matt black, or carbon sections have different internal geometries and require different replacement codes
