This 12 mm lower section carries the SAS (Standard Anti-Shock) spring assembly within its body, giving the walker integrated impact damping at the tip end. When the section fails from ground contact damage, this genuine replacement restores the 12 mm diameter, 420 mm printed length, nature anodized finish, and antishock function in a single part. Finished in nature anodized aluminium (colour code 036), this section is produced from the 2011–2014 era. The SL+ lever clamps against the outer wall of the 12 mm lower section — the correct diameter tolerance is essential for the lever to achieve full clamping force.
