This genuine LEKI replacement upper section with grip fits the Speed Pacer Vario nordic walking pole. The upper section carries the grip assembly and the top portion of the telescopic adjustment system, and is the part of the pole that is held during use.

Upper Section with Grip — the outermost section of the Speed Pacer Vario. Section diameter: 14mm. Material: HM Carbon. Length: 255mm. This section carries the pole handle/grip assembly at the top end. The telescopic locking mechanism interfaces at the lower end of this section, clamping around the lower section to fix the length setting. The upper section is what you hold during use; if the grip cracks or the tube above the lock is damaged, this is the part to replace.
Vario adjustment system ▼
The Speed Pacer Vario is sold in five 10cm adjustment ranges: 100–110 cm, 105–115 cm, 110–120 cm, 115–125 cm, and 120–130 cm. The Speed Lock mechanism allows tool-free length adjustment within the selected range. The upper section carries the upper portion of this adjustment — the lower section slides inside the upper section and is clamped in position by the Speed Lock at the desired height.
Fitting and replacement ▼
To replace the upper section: open the Speed Lock lever at the joint between upper and lower sections, slide out the lower section, remove the damaged upper section, insert the replacement upper section, and re-insert the lower section. Close the Speed Lock lever and test the full adjustment range and lock action before use. If the Speed Lock clamp feels loose after fitting, adjust the tension screw on the housing clockwise in half-turn increments.

This section does not carry the tip. The tip is fitted to the lower section only. If the tip or lower section is damaged, that is a separate spare part.
