Description
The LEKI Threaded Sleeve for Speedlock 1 is a genuine replacement for the adjustment wheel inside the Speedlock 1 lever assembly. The threaded sleeve controls the locking tension on the lever — when it wears or strips, the lever loses its ability to hold sections at the correct pressure. Replacing the sleeve restores full locking function without replacing the entire lever assembly.

What the Threaded Sleeve Does ▼
The threaded sleeve — also called the adjustment wheel — sits inside the Speedlock 1 lever and threads onto the bolt to create the clamping force that locks pole sections in place. As the sleeve wears over time, it loses grip on the bolt thread and the lever becomes unable to hold tension. This replacement sleeve restores that clamping action directly.
Speedlock 1 vs Speedlock 2 ▼
LEKI produces two versions of the threaded sleeve — one for Speedlock 1 (this product, LE7081006) and one for Speedlock 2 (LE7085004). The two are not interchangeable. Check the lever on your poles before ordering: Speedlock 1 levers typically have a round or oval profile with a visible adjustment wheel. If in doubt, contact the LEKI service team with your pole model.
