16 MM MOUNT NORDIC SHARK 2.0 2K TWO-COMPONENT SHARK CLICK-IN QUICK RELEASE BUTTON

The Nordic Shark 2.0 is LEKI's performance Nordic grip, built around the Shark click-in system for a direct hand-to-pole connection with no strap slack. This is the genuine replacement grip with a 16 mm mount, sized to bond onto the top of a pole built with a 16 mm upper-section diameter. Its 2K two-component construction pairs a firm core with a warm, low-slip cork-textured surface, while the Speed Shape profile guides the hand into the same position on every plant and the Dura Rail edge takes the wear of repeated ground contact. The Quick Release Button lets you click the Shark strap in and out in a second. The Nordic Shark is a mainstay across LEKI's Nordic walking, cross-country and ski-touring ranges, and this 16 mm version is the correct replacement when an original grip on a 16 mm pole is damaged, worn smooth or torn.

BEFORE YOU ORDER — QUICK CHECK
✓ Measure the outer diameter at the very top of your pole's upper section — this grip fits a 16 mm section only.
✓ Your pole must currently use a Nordic Shark grip (the strap clicks into the top of the grip). It will not replace Aergon, PAS, EVOCON or alpine Trigger grips.
✓ Poles with a 16.5 mm section (e.g. HRC Max) need the 16.5 mm grip; 14 mm poles need the 14 mm grip — the mount must match exactly.
✓ This is a bonded grip. Fitting means removing the old grip and adhesive with heat, then bonding and aligning the new one — a workshop or experienced-fitter job, not a tool-free swap.

▸ Compatibility & Fitting Guide
Fits LEKI poles with a 16 mm upper section and the Nordic Shark grip system, including:
  • Cross-country: HRC Marathon, PRC 850, PRC 750, PRC 650
  • Ski-touring / skimo: Mezza Race, Mezza Ultralite
How to confirm the fit:
  1. Measure the outer diameter at the top of the pole's upper section — it must read 16 mm.
  2. Check the existing grip is a Nordic Shark type — the strap clicks into a housing on top of the grip via a release button.
  3. Match the grip surface family (2K two-component) to the original where you want a like-for-like feel; the 1K foam version is a separate grip.
Fitting note:
The grip is bonded to the section. Correct fitting removes the old grip and adhesive with controlled heat, cleans the section, then bonds and aligns the new grip. Have this done by a workshop or experienced fitter to avoid damaging the section.
