The LEKI Legacy FX TA Lower Replacement Section is the genuine OEM spare for the bottom section of the Legacy FX TA — LEKI's robust, family-friendly folding and telescoping trekking pole built for UK hillwalking, Alpine trails, and long-distance hikes. The lower section endures the harshest trail contact: rock strikes on scrambles, rootstock, and scree on descents. This 14 mm HTS 6.0 aluminium tube includes the Carbide Flex Tip, which deflects up to 30 degrees without structural damage — a defining feature of the Legacy FX TA. The five-section FX TA design uses ELD folding for the lower sections and Speed Lock 2 Plus for infinite length adjustment between 110–130 cm, packing down to 38 cm for easy stowage. LEKI's FX technology is specifically engineered so the two lowest sections can be replaced in minutes without specialist tools. How to identify your section:
The lower section is at the base of the assembled pole. It contains the Flex Tip and is secured via the FX locking clip. LEKI's FX technology is designed so this section can be replaced in minutes without tools — detach the locking mechanism, slide out the damaged section, and replace.
