The LEKI Makalu FX TA is a foldable aluminium trekking pole designed for mountain terrain, built around the Aergon Air grip and a Speed Lock Plus adjustment system for reliable, comfortable performance on demanding routes. This genuine replacement is for the third section from the top — the middle section directly above the lower tip section, which transmits the load from ground contact upward through the full shaft. Machined to LEKI's original specification, it integrates precisely with the SL+ lever mechanism and the internal folding cord assembly.

✓ Your pole must use Speed Lock Plus — the external lever clamp on the shaft (not Speed Lock 2 Plus)
