Compatible pole: Cressida FX Carbon AS (LEKI Code LE65220591) — women's 5-section FX folding trekking pole with Speed Lock 2 Plus height adjustment and DSS antishock. Pole length range: 100–120 cm.

How to confirm your pole: Look for a light grey endcap/connector at the very top of the lower section. The grey endcap should unscrew by hand and split cleanly into two halves — this is LEKI's FX split-housing system. If it splits cleanly, this section is user-fittable at home.

To fit: Remove the Speed Lock 2 Plus lever, unscrew the grey endcap, slide the damaged section free from the internal tension cord, thread the cord down through the new section from connector end to tip end, and reassemble in reverse order. If the cord is hard to feed through, a straightened wire coat hanger can guide it through the section bore.
