Description
The LEKI Smart Tip is a replacement tip pad assembly for LEKI Nordic Walking poles fitted with the Smart Tip 1.0 system. The Smart Tip provides the rubber contact surface used on hard ground — asphalt, paving, and compacted surfaces — allowing the pole to switch between hard terrain use and the rubber pad without removing the tip entirely.
Sold as a pair (one per pole). Colour: Black/White. This product is designed specifically for the Smart Tip 1.0 system and is not compatible with Smart Tip 2.0 poles.
Why it matters on the mountain
- Surface versatility restored — The Smart Tip rubber pad protects hard surfaces and provides grip on pavement. Replacing a worn pad restores the full dual-terrain capability of the pole without replacing the tip housing or the pole itself.
- System-specific replacement — Smart Tip 1.0 and Smart Tip 2.0 are not interchangeable. This product fits Smart Tip 1.0 poles only. Check your pole's tip system before ordering.

Smart Tip 1.0 vs Smart Tip 2.0 — Know Your System ▼
LEKI's Smart Tip system exists in two generations that are not interchangeable. Smart Tip 1.0 uses an older tip body design; Smart Tip 2.0 uses a revised housing and pad that are dimensionally different. This product (LE882600103) fits Smart Tip 1.0 only. For Smart Tip 2.0 poles, the correct replacement pad is the LEKI NW Smart Tip V2 (LE882800102) or Smart Tip Pad 2.0 (LE882810103). If you are unsure which system your pole has, contact the LEKI service team before ordering.
Rubber Pad vs Full Smart Tip Assembly ▼
If only the rubber pad insert needs replacing (not the full tip assembly), the LEKI Smart Tip Pad (LE882610103, £14.50) is the lower-cost alternative for Smart Tip 1.0 poles. This product (LE882600103, £40) is the complete tip unit replacement for when the full assembly is worn or damaged.
