Description

LEKI Code: LESECL6314 mm Section910 mm LengthCarbon BlackSpeed Lock (SL1)2-Section DesignCarbon2011–2015 Production
The lower section of a 2-section adjustable alpine ski pole carries the full energy of every pole plant — compression on groomed runs, lateral impact in rougher terrain, and the cyclic load of repeated lever operation as the skier adjusts length through a day on the hill. At 910 mm and 14 mm diameter in carbon, LESECL63 is the genuine LEKI replacement lower section for the LEKI Speed Lock Peak Vario S — a 2-section Speed Lock adjustable alpine ski pole produced between 2011 and 2015, built around a 16/14 mm shaft with an aluminium upper section and carbon lower, Trigger S grip, and an adjustment range of approximately 107–137 cm. Manufactured to the original carbon specification, it restores the exact 14 mm diameter, 910 mm length, and tube surface that the original Speed Lock lever assembly depends on for consistent clamping force.

► Compatibility & Fitting Guide
LESECL63 is the correct replacement lower section for the LEKI Speed Lock Peak Vario S — a 2-section Speed Lock adjustable alpine ski pole from the 2011–2015 production era with a 16/14 mm shaft, carbon black lower section, and Trigger S grip. The 910 mm section length is the definitive identifier — check the printed measurement on your existing lower section before ordering. Compatible with model code 6356762.
LEKI Speed Lock Peak Vario S — 2-section Speed Lock adjustable alpine ski pole, 2011–2015 production, with 16/14 mm shaft, carbon black lower section, and Trigger S grip (model code 6356762)
✓ To fit: open the Speed Lock lever fully at the lower joint, withdraw the worn section, insert LESECL63 and slide to approximate mid-position; close the lever and set your preferred length before testing the hold firmly between the grip and basket end
✓ After fitting, if the section slips under load, adjust the tension screw (located at the base of the lever assembly) clockwise in small increments until the lever closes with firm resistance at the correct length
✓ Speed Lock (SL1) identification: a small external lever that lifts outward to release and closes flat to clamp; if your lever is larger, has a different profile, or is labelled Speed Lock 2, Speed Lock +, or Speed Lock 2+, a different LEKI section code applies
► Not Compatible With
✗ Poles using Speed Lock 2 (SL2), Speed Lock + (SL+), or Speed Lock 2+ (SL2+) — later-generation lever mechanisms with different clamping profiles; the tube diameter may match but the lever interface and section length differ
✗ Fixed-length ski poles — these have no adjustable lower section; LESECL63 is dimensioned for 2-section telescopic construction only
✗ Poles with a 12 mm or 16 mm lower section — the 14 mm diameter is specific to the 16/14 mm shaft profile; a different diameter section will not seat correctly in the Speed Lock lever assembly
✗ Trekking, hiking, or Nordic walking poles not originally built with this 14 mm Speed Lock carbon specification — this is an alpine ski pole section

BEFORE YOU ORDER — QUICK CHECK
✓ Section length: the printed measurement on your existing lower section must read 910 mm — this is the primary specification and overrides all other checks
✓ Diameter: confirm the lower (tip) end of your section measures 14 mm — if it measures 12 mm or 16 mm, a different LEKI replacement code is required
✓ Locking system: your poles must use the original Speed Lock (SL1) — a small external lever that lifts outward to release and closes flat to clamp; if the lever is labelled Speed Lock 2, Speed Lock +, or Speed Lock 2+, a different LEKI section code applies to your pole
✓ Finish: your existing lower section must be carbon black — if the section is anodized aluminium, a different LEKI replacement code is required even if the length and diameter match
