✓ To fit: rotate the lower section anti-clockwise to unlock from the middle section, slide the worn section free, insert LESECL17 with the tip end facing down, and rotate clockwise until the expander engages and the section holds firmly under pull-test

► Not Compatible With
✗ Poles using Speed Lock, Speed Lock +, Speed Lock 2, or Speed Lock 2+ — these use an external lever clamp at each joint; the shaft diameter may match but the clamping interface is entirely different to Classic Lock
✗ Poles with a 12 mm lower section — this is a 14 mm section; fitting it to a 12 mm pole will damage the expander or produce an insecure fit
✗ Classic Lock poles requiring a 420 mm lower section — this section is 500 mm; the two lengths are not interchangeable and the incorrect length will alter the adjusted height range of the pole
✗ FX folding poles — these use CLD or ELD locking systems and a different section construction entirely

✓ Diameter: confirm the lower (tip) end of your section measures 14 mm — if it measures 12 mm, a different LEKI replacement code is required

✓ Locking system: your poles must use Classic Lock — the lower section rotates directly to lock and release with no external lever; if your pole has any external lever at any joint, it uses a different locking system
