Description

LEKI Code: LESECL118 14 mm Section 549 mm Length Black Anodized Speed Lock 2 3-Section Design Aluminium 2016–Present
The lower section is the tip-end section of a telescopic trekking pole — the section most exposed to ground contact, rock strike, and abrasion, and the one most commonly damaged through use. At 549 mm and 14 mm diameter in black anodized aluminium, LESECL118 is the genuine LEKI replacement lower section for 3-section Speed Lock 2 poles with an 18/16/14 mm shaft profile. This section spans the Tour Carbon 3, Aergon 3, Aergon 3 V, Civetta Pro, Guide 3, and Haute Route 3 — covering trekking, ski touring, and ski mountaineering models produced from 2016 onwards across multiple seasons. The 549 mm printed length and 14 mm diameter are the definitive identifiers for this section; manufactured to the original aluminium specification, it restores the correct diameter, length, and lever-clamp interface without requiring a full pole replacement.

► Compatibility & Fitting Guide
LESECL118 fits LEKI 3-section Speed Lock 2 poles with an 18/16/14 mm shaft profile. The 549 mm printed length and 14 mm diameter are the definitive identifiers — check the printed measurement on your existing lower section before ordering. Confirmed compatible poles are listed below by model name with associated LEKI article codes.
Tour Carbon 3 (18/16/14 mm) — 6322732, 6362732
Aergon 3 (18/16/14 mm) — 6322734, 6322754, 6362734, 64927321
Aergon 3 V (18/16/14 mm) — 6363234, 6363234-NA
Civetta Pro (18/16/14 mm) — 6402744, 6432745, 6432747, 65027451
Guide 3 (18/16/14 mm) — 65227321
Haute Route 3 (18/16/14 mm) — 65227451
✓ Additional article codes associated with this section: 6322745, 6322762, 6322773, 65028321 — model names not confirmed in available documentation; verify shaft profile is 18/16/14 mm and locking system is Speed Lock 2 before ordering
✓ To fit: open the Speed Lock 2 lever fully at the base of the middle section. Slide the existing lower section downward and withdraw. Insert LESECL118 from below until the internal stop is reached. Close the lever firmly. Adjust to required length and confirm the clamp holds under pull-test
✓ If the lever does not clamp securely after fitting, the Speed Lock 2 lever tension can be adjusted via the small screw on the lever body — turn clockwise to increase clamping force
► Not Compatible With
✗ Classic Lock (CLA) poles — Trail AS, Eagle, Voyager, Makalu AS, Panorama AS and others; these use an internal twist-lock mechanism with different tube dimensions; see LESECL40 (420 mm) or LESECL17 (500 mm) for CLA-compatible sections
✗ SLS (Super Lock System) poles — internal twist mechanism, dimensionally incompatible with Speed Lock 2 lever hardware
✗ Original Speed Lock (SL1) poles — pre-2016 Sherpa XL, Khumbu and similar; the SL1 lever housing has different clamping geometry and is not interchangeable with Speed Lock 2
✗ Speed Lock 2 poles requiring a different lower section length — if the printed measurement on your existing lower section is not 549 mm, a different LEKI code is required; do not fit a section of the wrong length

BEFORE YOU ORDER — QUICK CHECK
✓ Section length: the printed measurement on your existing lower section must read 549 mm — this is the primary specification and overrides all other checks
✓ Diameter: confirm the lower (tip) end of your section measures 14 mm
✓ Locking system: your poles must use Speed Lock 2 — there should be an external lever clamp at the base of the middle section; if the lower section rotates directly to lock with no external lever, the pole uses a twist-lock system and this section will not fit
✓ Sections: confirm your pole is a 3-section design with an 18/16/14 mm shaft profile; the lower section should be the shortest of the three tubes
