Description
The LEKI Nordic Walking Smart Tip V2 is the replacement tip body for LEKI Nordic walking poles fitted with the Smart Tip 2.0 system. The Smart Tip pivots and flexes during the Nordic walking stride to maintain contact with the ground through the push-through phase — when the tip pad wears or cracks, this replacement restores that function.
This product replaces the Smart Tip 2.0 tip body only. It is not compatible with older LEKI Smart Tip 1.0 poles — the V1 and V2 housings use different interfaces and are not interchangeable. Colour: white-black.
Sold as a pair — one tip for each pole. If you are unsure which Smart Tip version your poles use, check the tip housing: Smart Tip 2.0 carries a white-and-black colour scheme. Smart Tip 1.0 uses a different housing profile. Contact our service team if unsure.
Why it matters on the mountain
- The Smart Tip pivots with your stride to stay in full ground contact through the push-through — a worn or cracked tip body breaks that movement and reduces power transfer on every step.
- Nordic walking technique depends on a consistent, controlled tip release at the end of each stride; replacing a degraded tip restores the rhythm and reduces compensatory strain on wrist and shoulder.
- Using the correct replacement — V2 for V2 poles — preserves the pivot housing and prevents misfit damage. Fitting a 1.0 tip to a 2.0 housing (or vice versa) will not seat correctly and risks damaging the tip receiver.
- Sold as a pair so both poles are replaced simultaneously — maintaining identical tip performance left and right.

What is Smart Tip 2.0? ▼
Smart Tip is LEKI's pivoting tip system for Nordic walking poles. Rather than a fixed carbide point, the Smart Tip body pivots to follow the angle of the pole during the push-through stride, maintaining ground contact across the full movement. Smart Tip 2.0 is the current-generation system, with a revised housing profile and interface that differs from the original Smart Tip 1.0. The V2 tip body (this product) is a direct replacement when the existing tip pad wears or is damaged.
Smart Tip 1.0 vs Smart Tip 2.0 ▼
Smart Tip 1.0 and Smart Tip 2.0 are entirely separate systems — the housing geometry, pivot mechanism, and interface are different between generations. V2 pads will not fit V1 poles, and V1 pads will not fit V2 poles. To identify your system: Smart Tip 2.0 poles carry a white-and-black tip housing. Smart Tip 1.0 poles use an older housing with a different visual profile. If your poles are from the LEKI Smart range and were purchased recently, they are almost certainly Smart Tip 2.0. If unsure, contact our service team with your pole model name or EPOS code.
