✓ Twist the SLS collar at the base of the middle section anti-clockwise to release the lower section. Insert the replacement section from below until it seats fully at the internal stop. Twist the collar clockwise until firmly secured. Pull-test the joint before use.
✓ SLS lock verification: apply firm downward pressure on the tip; the lower section must not slip, rotate, or produce any clicking. Any movement indicates incomplete locking or collar wear.
✓ SLS identification: the external twist collar is visible at the base of the middle section; no external lever mechanism is present on this generation.
