The Voyager was built for walkers who wanted a capable, lightweight Classic Lock pole with a clean, unfussy finish — the clear lacquer coating leaves the aluminium looking natural and unpretentious, suited to the Gower Peninsula coastal paths or the gravel tracks of the Kielder Forest long-distance routes. Classic Lock (CLA) gave those poles a reliable external lever mechanism that a generation of walkers understood and trusted. This genuine replacement lower section restores the exact 14 mm diameter, 490 mm printed length, and transparent clear lacquer finish when the original section sustains damage that cannot be repaired. Finished in transparent / clear lacquer (colour code 000), this aluminium section shows the natural bare-metal aluminium surface beneath a protective clear coat. The Classic Lock lever applies clamping force directly to the outer wall of the lower section — the correct 14 mm diameter ensures the lever achieves full clamping force without overtightening or slipping. Sections ground to a different tolerance prevent the lever from closing flush. Sold as a single section.

This lower section is confirmed compatible with the following LEKI Classic Lock (CLA) trekking poles. Always verify the printed length and diameter on your existing lower section before ordering.
✓ Voyager — 6312011, 6312016, 6312017, 6342011, 6342017
✓ Length verification: Confirm the 490 mm printed marking on your existing lower section before ordering — any section showing a different printed length requires a different spare part.
✓ Fitting: Slide the new lower section into the middle section from the tip end. Close the Classic Lock lever and confirm the section holds firmly under hand pressure. The lever should close flush — if it does not fully close, the section diameter may not be compatible with your specific pole generation.
✓ Lever tension adjustment: If the section is loose under normal lever clamping force, tighten the adjuster nut on the clamp collar clockwise in quarter-turn increments until the lever locks securely. Do not overtighten.
✓ Finish note: The transparent / clear lacquer finish means the section will show the natural bare aluminium surface. Minor surface marks on the new section are normal and do not affect structural performance.
✓ Care after fitting: Wipe the section clean after use in muddy or wet conditions. Keep the lever pivot free from grit to maintain reliable clamping performance.

✗ SLS (Super Lock System) poles — internal twist-lock mechanism; entirely different architecture from the CLA external lever system
✗ CLA poles requiring a different finish — this section has a transparent / clear lacquer finish (000); if your pole has an anodized or powder-coated lower section, a different finish variant may be required for a matched appearance
✗ Poles with a different lower section specification — must match 14 mm diameter and 490 mm printed length exactly; a section with incorrect dimensions will not clamp correctly in the Classic Lock lever
