This 14 mm lower section is the correct factory replacement for the LEKI Khumbu, Sherpa XL, and Terrano Antishock trekking poles, built on the standard 18/16/14 mm three-section telescopic geometry. These poles used the Speed Lock + (SL+) external lever with integrated anti-shock mechanism. The SL+ lever provides quick height adjustment combined with anti-shock cushioning in the same collar assembly. The nature anodized finish (colour code 036) and 490 mm printed length are the defining specifications for this section. ✓ Fitting: Open the Speed Lock + lever to release the existing section, then slide it out from the tip end. Insert the new section and close the Speed Lock + lever firmly to secure. The lever should close flush with the collar.
✓ Lock engagement: If the lever does not close fully or the section moves under load, tighten the adjuster nut on the clamp collar clockwise in quarter-turn increments. Do not overtighten.
