This 14 mm lower section is the correct factory replacement for the LEKI Trail Antishock trekking pole, built on the standard 18/16/14 mm three-section telescopic geometry used across LEKI’s mainstream trekking range during this era. The SLS + SAS (Super Lock System with Soft Anti-Shock) configuration combines the familiar internal twist-lock height adjustment — rotate anti-clockwise to release, set height, rotate clockwise to lock — with an integrated anti-shock spring mechanism housed in the upper section. The lower section is a standard aluminium replacement that restores the original 14 mm geometry without modifying the anti-shock function.

This lower section is confirmed compatible with the following LEKI poles. Always verify the printed length and diameter on your existing lower section before ordering.

✓ Diameter check: This is a 14 mm section. Measure the diameter of your existing lower section with calipers before ordering.
✓ Length verification: The 490 mm printed length is the defining specification — measure the printed marking on your existing lower section, not the physical length. A section showing any other printed length requires a different spare part.
✓ Fitting: Rotate the existing lower section anti-clockwise to disengage the SLS lock, then slide it out from the tip end. Insert the new section and rotate clockwise until the lock engages with firm resistance. The SAS anti-shock spring system is housed in the upper section and is unaffected by this replacement. Test by applying downward load before use.
✓ Lock engagement: The SLS mechanism should engage with a firm, positive resistance when rotated clockwise. If the section rotates freely or fails to hold under load, the internal SLS collar may require assessment or replacement.
