Leki Evotrail FX.One TA

The LEKI Evotrail FX.One TA is a four-section folding trail running pole built around genuine practicality: a compact 38 cm pack size, a Trigger Shark click-in strap system, and a simple Push-Button folding mechanism that works without removing your hands from the grip. For trail runners and fast hikers who want a pole that collapses quickly and sits cleanly in a vest or pack, the Evotrail FX.One TA is the entry point into the LEKI FX folding range.

Sections are Aluminium (HTS 6.5) throughout, giving the Evotrail FX.One TA strong, dependable durability for a pole at this level. The pole is available in five fixed lengths from 110 to 130 cm in 5 cm steps, so selecting the correct size at purchase is important. At 215 g (measured at 120 cm), it is a practical weight for a trail running pole at this construction level.

The Trigger Shark 2.0 grip is a cork grip with an integrated Trigger Shark interface. The Trigger Shark system allows the Shark Frame Strap Mesh to click in and out of the grip at the push of a button, freeing the hand without removing the strap from the wrist. This is the same strap-release mechanism used across the broader LEKI Shark trail running family. Strap sizing is split between two models: S-M-L for 110–115 cm poles, and M-L-XL for 120–130 cm poles.

The Evotrail FX.One TA is finished with a Flex Tip Short (Carbide) and supplied with a Nordic basket. A rubber pad is included for road and hard surface use.

Grip ▼

Trigger Shark 2.0 grip in 1K Cork, Standard size. The cork grip body provides a warm, moisture-managing contact surface across mixed weather conditions. The Trigger Shark 2.0 interface integrates the Shark strap release directly into the back of the grip: pressing the button releases the Shark Frame Strap Mesh so the hand can exit cleanly without removing the strap from the wrist. The Trigger Shark system is the defining grip interface across the LEKI trail running range and enables fast pole stowage on technical descents or when transitioning to hands-free sections of a route.

Strap ▼

Shark Frame Strap Mesh — a structured, ventilated click-in strap designed for the Trigger Shark interface. Strap sizing is matched to pole length at purchase: S-M-L for 110–115 cm poles, M-L-XL for 120–130 cm poles. The strap remains on the wrist when released from the grip, allowing the poles to be stowed without removing the strap.

Folding system ▼

Push-Button folding mechanism. Press the button on the side of the pole body to release and fold the sections. No lever or clip release required — the mechanism can be operated with hands still in position on the grip. The four-section folded length is 38 cm (measured at 120 cm pole length), suitable for most trail running vest pole pockets and pack side pockets. This is a fixed-length folding pole — there is no length adjustment once assembled. Select the correct size at purchase.

Section construction ▼

Four sections. Aluminium (HTS 6.5) throughout. Section diameters 16 | 14 | 14 | 14 mm. Clear finish. The three lower sections share the same 14 mm diameter, with the upper section at 16 mm. Spare sections are available by pole length and are referenced against the SS25 model code (65225751) — confirm compatibility with LEKI before ordering. See Compatibility section below for details.

Tip and basket ▼

Flex Tip Short (Carbide) for durable performance on rocky, mixed and technical trail ground. Nordic basket supplied as standard. Rubber pad also included for road and hard-surface use.

• Standard wrist straps or Lock System straps — this pole uses the Trigger Shark click-in interface only. Standard strap attachments are not compatible with the Trigger Shark grip.
• Telescopic or Vario adjustable poles — the Evotrail FX.One TA is a fixed-length FX folding design. Sections from telescopic poles are not compatible.
• Sections from other FX folding models with different diameters (e.g. 14|12|12|12 mm carbon poles) — the Evotrail FX.One TA uses a 16|14|14|14 mm aluminium section architecture which is specific to this model family.
• Length adjustment after purchase — this is a fixed-length pole. There is no mechanism to alter the assembled length. Select the correct size at point of purchase.
