Leki Legacy Lite

The LEKI Legacy Lite is a three-section aluminium trekking pole designed for adults who want a light, reliable pole for everyday walking and mountain use. It is the entry point of the Legacy family — approachable in price, straightforward to use, and built to last across repeated seasons on the hill.

At 251 g per pole with a 16|14|12 mm section architecture, the Legacy Lite is one of the lighter telescopic trekking poles in the Active Series. Aluminium (HTS 6.0) throughout all three sections gives it solid, dependable durability without the premium weight of higher-grade alloys. The 66 cm pack size is compact enough for most luggage and boot rooms, and Speed Lock plus makes length adjustment fast and reliable whether wearing gloves or not.

The EVOCON grip in 2K CorTec, Standard size, is the defining feature of the Legacy family. Its rounded, anatomically contoured shape is designed around the natural curve of the hand, providing a broad, comfortable support surface that reduces grip fatigue across a long day. The back of the grip is fully rubberised for control on steeper ground. Lock Security Strap Soft 2.0 is continuously adjustable for a secure fit throughout the day.

Both a Racing basket and a Trekking basket are supplied, giving the Legacy Lite genuine versatility across terrain types without any additional purchase. Flex Tip Short (Carbide) at the base provides a reliable, durable point of contact on mixed and rocky ground.

What’s new for SS26: Updated graphics in Denim Blue / Dark Olive. Construction and specification are unchanged from the SS25 Legacy Lite (LE65221841). For the antishock version, see the Legacy Lite AS (LE65621831S). A Compact version is also available as the Legacy Lite Compact (LE65621842C).

Grip ▼

EVOCON grip in 2K CorTec, Standard size. The EVOCON shape is anatomically contoured with a rounded support surface that follows the natural curve of the hand, reducing pressure points and grip fatigue across extended use. 2K CorTec blends natural cork with rubber for a grip that is warm in cold conditions, moisture-managing in warm weather, and durable across repeated seasons. The back of the grip is fully rubberised for secure hold and additional control on descents. The EVOCON is the defining grip of the Legacy family and differs from the Aergon and Aergon Air grips used on the Makalu and Khumbu families. Lock Security Strap Soft 2.0 — one size, continuously adjustable. Soft-touch webbing for comfort across extended use. Standard strap attachment — no integrated click-in glove interface.

Locking system ▼

Speed Lock plus external lever. Fast, precise length adjustment across the full 100–135 cm range. Operable with gloves on. Lever tension is adjustable via the integrated tensioning screw.

Section construction ▼

Three-section Vario telescopic construction. Aluminium (HTS 6.0) throughout all three sections — upper, middle and lower. Section diameters 16 | 14 | 12 mm — the slimmer Lite architecture shared across the Legacy Lite AS (LE65621831S) and other Lite family models. Matt finish. Pack size 66 cm when fully collapsed — one of the more compact pack sizes in the Lite telescopic range.

Tip and basket ▼

Flex Tip Short (Carbide) for durable, reliable performance on rocky and mixed mountain ground. Both a Racing basket and a Trekking basket are supplied as standard — an advantage of the Legacy family over other Lite models which include only the Trekking 2.0 basket. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH

• LEKI Trigger or Shark click-in glove systems — the Legacy Lite uses a standard strap attachment, not a Trigger interface.
• Lower sections from the Legacy Lite AS (LE65621831S) — the AS model uses a DSS/SPL2 lower section which is specific to antishock construction and is not interchangeable with the standard Speed Lock lower used on this model.
• Sections designed for the standard Legacy (18|16|14 mm) — the Legacy Lite uses the slimmer 16|14|12 mm Lite architecture. These are not interchangeable.
• FX folding pole sections — the Legacy Lite is a Vario telescopic design. FX folding sections are a different architecture and are not compatible.
• DSS antishock tips — no DSS system is fitted on this model. DSS-specific tips require the DSS lower section and are not compatible with the standard Speed Lock lower.
