Leki Legacy Lite Compact

The LEKI Legacy Lite Compact is a three-section aluminium trekking pole built for adults who need a shorter length range — covering 90 to 125 cm, it is well suited to shorter users, younger adults, and anyone who finds a standard 100–135 cm pole too long at its minimum setting. It shares the same construction, grip, and specification as the Legacy Lite Standard (LE65621841S), in a shorter and slightly lighter build.

At 240 g per pole with a 64 cm pack size, the Legacy Lite Compact is among the lightest and most packable telescopic trekking poles in the Active Series. The Aluminium (HTS 6.0) sections give it solid durability across mixed and mountain terrain, and Speed Lock plus handles length adjustment cleanly across the full 90–125 cm range.

The EVOCON grip in 2K CorTec, Standard size, is the defining grip of the Legacy family. Its rounded, anatomically contoured shape follows the natural curve of the hand and reduces grip fatigue across extended use. The fully rubberised grip back provides additional hold and control on descents. Lock Security Strap Soft 2.0 is continuously adjustable for a secure, comfortable fit. Both a Racing basket and a Trekking basket are supplied as standard.

What’s new for SS26: The Legacy Lite Compact is a new product code for SS26, introduced as the direct replacement for the discontinued Lhasa (LE65222211). Existing Lhasa users will find the Legacy Lite Compact equivalent in construction and specification, with an updated grip in the Legacy EVOCON family, revised graphics in White / Gold Brown, and both Racing and Trekking baskets included. The Standard version is available as the Legacy Lite (LE65621841S).

Grip ▼

EVOCON grip in 2K CorTec, Standard size. The EVOCON shape is anatomically contoured with a rounded support surface that follows the natural curve of the hand, reducing pressure points and grip fatigue across extended use. 2K CorTec blends natural cork with rubber for a grip that is warm in cold conditions, moisture-managing in warm weather, and durable across repeated seasons. The back of the grip is fully rubberised for secure hold and additional control on descents. The grip specification is identical to the Legacy Lite Standard (LE65621841S) — the only differences between the two models are the length range, section lengths, pack size, and weight.

Strap ▼

Lock Security Strap Soft 2.0 — one size, continuously adjustable. Soft-touch webbing for comfort across extended use. Standard strap attachment — no integrated click-in glove interface.

Locking system ▼

Speed Lock plus external lever. Fast, precise length adjustment across the full 90–125 cm range. Operable with gloves on. Lever tension is adjustable via the integrated tensioning screw.

Section construction ▼

Three-section Vario telescopic construction. Aluminium (HTS 6.0) throughout all three sections — upper, middle and lower. Section diameters 16 | 14 | 12 mm. Matt finish. Pack size 64 cm when fully collapsed. The Compact uses shorter sections than the Standard (LE65621841S): lower section 420 mm vs 455 mm, middle section 427 mm vs 462 mm. These are not interchangeable between the Standard and Compact variants.

Tip and basket ▼

Flex Tip Short (Carbide) for durable, reliable performance on rocky and mixed mountain ground. Both a Racing basket and a Trekking basket are supplied as standard — an advantage of the Legacy family over other Lite models which include only the Trekking 2.0 basket. No antishock system on this model.

• LEKI Trigger or Shark click-in glove systems — the Legacy Lite Compact uses a standard strap attachment, not a Trigger interface.
• Lower or middle sections from the Legacy Lite Standard (LE65621841S) — Standard sections are longer and will not fit the Compact correctly.
• Sections designed for the standard Legacy (18|16|14 mm) — the Legacy Lite Compact uses the slimmer 16|14|12 mm Lite architecture. These are not interchangeable.
• FX folding pole sections — the Legacy Lite Compact is a Vario telescopic design. FX folding sections are a different architecture and are not compatible.
• DSS antishock tips — no DSS system is fitted. DSS-specific tips require a DSS lower section and are not compatible with this model.
