The LEKI Makalu FX Carbon AS (SS26) is a premium folding trekking pole pair for hikers who want maximum packability with added impact reduction for long descents and firmer trails. The Antishock version uses LEKI’s Dynamic Suspension System (DSS) to reduce impact forces (approx. 40%), helping to relieve strain on muscles, tendons and joints during pole plants.
Built around the Aergon Air grip for ergonomic comfort and confident downhill control, it folds down to 40 cm for easy rucksack carry and travel. The ELD folding system opens and closes quickly with the push of a button, while Speed Lock 2 plus enables fast, secure length adjustment from 110–130 cm. Finished with Trekking Basket 2.0 and the DSS Tip (14 mm), it’s built for reliable placement across mixed mountain terrain.
