Leki Skysolo

 

The LEKI Skysolo is a three-section aluminium telescopic pole pair built specifically for high-mountain terrain. Developed and tested with leading mountaineers, it is the entry point into the Sky Series — LEKI’s range engineered for the demands of serious mountain use. HTS 6.5 aluminium delivers the strength and reliability required in exposed, committing terrain, while the Verticon grip is shaped for confident handling on technical ground.

At 254 g per pole, the Skysolo is notably lighter than a conventional heavy-duty trekking pole, making it well suited to fast and light alpine objectives, high-altitude trekking and demanding multi-day mountain routes. Length adjustment from 110 cm to 145 cm is handled by Speed Lock 2 plus, and the Trekking 2.0 basket covers the full range of mountain trail conditions. A Flex Tip carbide tip provides durable, confident placement on rock, gravel and compacted ground.

What’s new for SS26: The Skysolo is a new name within the SS26 range, replacing the Sherpa as the Performance Series aluminium mountain pole. The SS26 Skysolo introduces the Verticon grip — replacing the Aergon Air of the outgoing Sherpa — and arrives in fresh white, black and neon orange graphics. At 254 g per pole it is 25 g lighter than the Sherpa it replaces. The Skysolo name aligns the aluminium mountain pole with the wider Sky Series family for SS26.

Speed Lock 2 plus external lever system. Provides fast, reliable length adjustment between 110 cm and 145 cm, operable with gloves on. The aluminium lever construction is robust and suited to demanding mountain conditions.

Section construction ▼

Three-section Vario telescopic construction. Aluminium (HTS 6.5) throughout upper, middle and lower sections. Section diameters: 18 | 16 | 14 mm. Pack size 70 cm when collapsed. Matt finish.

Tip and basket ▼

Flex Tip (Carbide) for reliable, hardwearing performance on rocky mountain ground. Trekking 2.0 basket included for mixed trail and mountain terrain.

• LEKI Trigger or Shark click-in glove systems — the Skysolo uses a Verticon grip with standard strap, not a Trigger interface.
• FX folding pole architectures — the Skysolo is a three-section Vario telescopic design.
• DSS antishock tips — the Skysolo does not incorporate a DSS system and uses a standard Flex Tip fitting.
• Non-LEKI tips or baskets not designed for the standard Flex Tip / Trekking 2.0 fitting interface.
