Leki Khumbu AS

 

The LEKI Khumbu AS is a durable, three-section aluminium trekking pole pair built for adults who want reliable joint protection alongside confident performance on demanding trails. Its HTS 6.5 aluminium construction delivers a robust, stable feel underfoot, while the integrated Dynamic Suspension System (DSS) antishock absorbs impact at the tip to reduce stress on muscles, joints and ligaments over long days on the mountain.

The Aergon grip offers a secure, ergonomic hold across varied terrain, and length adjustment from 110 cm to 145 cm is handled by the Speed Lock plus external locking system — fast and reliable with gloves on. The DSS Tip 14 mm (Carbide) works directly with the antishock system for consistent, dampened pole plants, and the Trekking 2.0 basket is well suited to the mixed ground conditions of UK hillwalking and alpine trails.

What’s new for SS26: Updated graphics in Black / Dark Sea Green, with the DSS tip now finished in orange. Specification and construction remain unchanged from the proven Khumbu AS platform.

• LEKI Trigger or Shark click-in glove systems — the Khumbu AS uses an Aergon grip with strap, not a Trigger interface.
• Standard Flex Tip replacements in place of the DSS Tip — the DSS tip is designed specifically for use with the DSS antishock system on this pole.
• FX folding pole architectures — the Khumbu AS is a three-section telescopic Vario design.
• Non-LEKI tips or baskets not designed for the DSS Tip / Trekking 2.0 fitting standards.
