Independent LEKI Specialist Two Decades of LEKI experience.
German Design Made in Europe Durable and reliable, unrivalled spares backup.

The Leki Khumbu Lite Antishock Trekking Pole (formerly called the Leki CorkLite Antishock) is a great choice for walkers and hikers of lighter build needing an antishock pole that is strong and durable without unnecessary weight. The component materials and features are selected for longevity and ease of use over all-out comfort and extreme low weight. This makes the Khumbu Lite AS an ideal long-term companion if an Ultralite pole is right for you.

A combination of top quality aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with an edgeless Aergon CorTec grip and Leki's new SpeedLock+ locking plus Dynamic Stability System (DSS) antishock makes the Khumbu Lite Antishock efficient, hardwearing and versatile in use.

SpeedLock+ is a lighter, smaller evolution of the Leki SpeedLock (also known as SpeedLock 1), their original external locking mechanism. Adjustment is as quick and simple as flicking a lever and with a holding force of over 70kg it's ready to be relied upon throughout a long day trekking.

Leki's ergonomic Aergon grip shape makes all-day use comfortable too. You'll never find a corner, no matter where you hold it and the cork/rubber composite of CorTec is tactile but tough, with vent holes to keep your hand drier in summer. In addition the DSS module in the tip adds shock absorption for protection of your joints when walking on hard surfaces. A hardwearing strap and carbide Flex Tip complete the ensemble, ensuring quality from end to end.

A sturdy pole for users of lighter build on all kinds of walking and trekking journeys, the Leki Khumbu Lite Antishock was made to make the long haul more comfortable.

  • All-purpose Ultralite trekking pole with a rubberised cork grip and DSS antishock, made for all kinds of walking and trekking, particularly on hard surfaces.
  • Material: HTS 6.5 aluminium
  • Shaft diameter: 16/14/12 mm
  • Grip: Aergon CorTec
  • Length adjustment: SpeedLock+ Lever
  • Strap: Leki Security Strap
  • Tip: Carbide Flex Tip with interchangeable basket system
  • Collapsed length: 67 cm
  • Useable length: 100 - 135 cm (suitable for users up to 6'/180cm in height)
  • Weight: 506 grams per pair

Leki's Ultralite range of telescopic poles are ideal for users between 5'3"/160cm and 180cm in height and up to 75kg in weight for lightweight trekking use: they provide plenty of strength at minimal weight through the use of slimmer tubing than Superstrong poles.

Dynamic Suspension System (DSS) Antishock reduces peak impact by around 40% to protect muscles, ligaments and joints. A vibration-absorbing elastomer ring compresses with each plant, reducing the travel compared with previous systems to improve stability.
