Pole Clips are handy devices that will keep your poles tidy when not out on a walk.
These clips where originally supplied as part of the packaging that LEKI used to hold poles in their pairs throughout the distribution process. So may LEKI pole users found them useful and wanted replacements when they got lost. We have now managed to obtain them as an accessory.
The clips can be folded in half and left clipped to the pole. They will also break in half if the poles are twisted apart; the plastic is strong enough to survive this and the two halves can be pushed back together
Available in three sizes. Two clips would typically be used to hold together one pair of poles; one for the upper section, near the grip, and one on the mid section. Used in this way Standard (i.e. the larger diameter type) poles need one 18mm and one 16mm. Ultralite poles would need one 16mm and one 14mm. If you are unsure which pole type you have see here for our guide.
14mm - made to fit a tube of 14mm external diameter e.g. the middle section of an Ultralite or Carbon trekking pole or the upper section of a "lite" Nordic Walking pole
16mm - made to fit a tube of 16mm external diameter e.g. the middle section of a Standard pole or the upper section of an Ultralite or Carbon trekking pole. Also the upper section of some Nordic Walking poles (e.g. Supreme)
18mm - made to fit a tube of 18mm external diameter e.g. the upper section of a Standard pole.
Traveller Nordic Walking poles use the same diameter tubes as Ultralite Trekking poles.
